The Holy Uncomfortable

Csilleberc and Easter(a couple) 021

I was fully intending to continue with Our Story, but I ran out of time to write it this week!

That’s Ok, right?

So you can catch up (links below) BUT especially, I want to share a couple of things with you!

My hubby, (left with the football—teaching Hungarian students how to play:) has started his own blog!  It’s a journal about the at- least-one-daily initiation/interaction he has with people in parking lots, stores, parks and more!  He seeks to share the Gospel in some way…I’m looking forward to reading and hopefully you might like it too! It’s called

The Holy Uncomfortable

which is the label for the ‘feeling’ you get when you know God is calling you to do something, but it is outside of your safe, comfortable zone.  This is the term Dan, our Director in Hungary, gives this feeling and it has stuck with us.  I think it’s the perfect title for his blog.  And I’m sure it will encourage him to keep blogging if you followSmile

Also, since I was sharing so much, last week, about initiative evangelism as a part of our STINT year in Hungary and all God does in and through it and us…most we will have no idea about until Heaven, I NEED to share this recounting of a glimpse into some of the results of one white-haired man’s faithful initiative witness on George St. in Sydney, Australia. (Amy already listened and agrees, YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS!)

The Man On George St.

The Man on George St.

(and here’s My Story intro and links to the first 3 parts! I lost the 4th…I’m crying…can anybody help?)

I’m heeding the nudge of the Spirit to chronicle My husband and my and now OUR family’s story of calling.

I am choosing this for Tuesdays because of some of the special women at Jen’s (Jen, of course, and especially Amy) that I have been getting to know, and I feel that you and any other consistent readers (especially dear Cherry, who is a co-laborer and beloved bloggy friend) might be the most blessed to hear this story.

But, truly, I know I need to do this for myself and my God as we continue this unique journey that will, prayerfully, land me in Budapest, Hungary as a long-term missionary within the year.

Trusting all who read be blessed with a touch of Him…

He is Worthy of ALL of our lives!

‘We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.’
