Strong have been the stirrings and as hard as it is to have a heart that carries pain for others…it is worth the journey.
after all, isn’t that what He walked?
4 Surely he has borne our griefs
and carried our sorrows;
yet we esteemed him stricken,
smitten by God, and afflicted.
5But he was wounded for our transgressions;
he was crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
Isaiah 53: 4-5
doesn’t he call me to be like Him in this world?
1So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy,2 complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.
I used to always say that I need a regular washing over of my heart--an overwhelming of His Great Love. For me, yes, I must see. But, if I see that how can it not overflow to the lost in this world gone wrong?
This Flame MUST BE Fanned regularly that my love NOT grow cold…
